Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuhu Saudi Arabia has announced that the moon of Dhul Hijjah has been sighted (10/27/2011), hence the 1st day of Dhul Hijjah will be on Friday, October 28, 2011. Accordingly, Eid-ul-Adha will be on Sunday, November 6, 2011. Please note that Islamic Center of Greater Austin follows global moon sighting.
