The Islamic Center of Greater Austin (ICGA) and the North Austin Muslim Community Center (NAMCC) are coordinating Eid prayer logistics for this year, alhmadulilah.

The moon of Shawwal has been sighted in North America as well as in multiple countries in the Middle East. Hence ICGA and NAMCC will celebrate  Eid-ul-Fitr on Sunday, Sep 20, 2009. 

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Please start early to beat the traffic and give enough time for driving into downtown and for parking. Plan on arriving by 8:30am.
• Parking cost is $7 per car and has to be paid when you enter the parking lot
• Zakat-ul-Fitr must be paid to the needy before Eid Prayer. All Zakat-ul-Fitr collected by ICGA and NAMCC will be distributed locally through the HAPP organization.
