Saudi Arabia has announced that the moon of Dhul Hijjah has been sighted (10/27/2011), hence the 1st day of Dhul Hijjah will be on Friday, October 28, 2011. Accordingly, Eid-ul-Adha will be on Sunday, November 6, 2011. Please note that Islamic Center of Greater Austin follows global moon sighting.

- 10 Minute Quran Tafseer - Every Sunday through Thursday after Maghrib Sheikh Umer will explain the verses from the Quran and will start from the very beginning of the Quran.
- Tajweed Class - Learn under the instruction of Sheikh Umer every Monday after 8:15 PM

What is Dialogue with Rabbi David Komerofsky |

This event is the first part of an interactive lecture titled "What is Dialogue." There will be a discussion after the talk with a focus on brainstorming new ways to dialogue. Refreshments will be served at 6 PM. At 6:30 the talk will begin. At 7:00 there will be a discussion.
This part of the series is focused on the Jewish perspective with Rabbi David bringing his own flare and charm into the mix.
