NUECES RECONSTRUCTION
Rebuilding the Home Away From Home
For decades, Nueces Mosque has served students, families, and the Austin Muslim community. Now we are rebuilding a space that can serve generations to come.
Pre-construction underway in Austin, Texas
WHY REBUILD
One prayer spot.
A lifetime of sujud.
Nueces Mosque has outgrown the current building. We need a safer, more accessible, and more welcoming home to serve our growing community of students, families, and neighbors.
THE VISION
Built for prayer,
learning, and community
Six floors. 600+ prayer spots. A seminary and a library. Built debt free on the same corner we have prayed on since 1977.
Seminary
A dedicated seminary to nurture the next generation of knowledgeable and grounded leaders.
Library
A modern library with valuable texts to support students, research, and lifelong learning.
