We understand that different students have different circumstances in life, which leads people to have varying career, educational, and Islamic objectives and goals. We attempt to cater to all from those who just want the basics to those who are eager for deeper Islamic studies.

Year 2

In the second year at Nueces Seminary, students deepen their Islamic studies by focusing on the mastery of Classical Arabic. They learn to translate a variety of important texts, including the renowned Ajurrumiyyah, a foundational work in Arabic grammar. This rigorous study sharpens their linguistic skills, allowing them to engage with classical Islamic literature in its original language. Year 2 is an essential step for those dedicated to gaining a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings through the rich tradition of Arabic scholarship.

Year 3

Year 3 at Nueces Seminary is designed for students who are ready to dive deeper into the complexities of Classical Arabic and Islamic scholarship. This program offers a more rigorous study of advanced Arabic texts, challenging students to apply their language skills to a broader range of literature. Through intensive analysis and discussion, students engage with classical works, enhancing their understanding and interpretation of Islamic teachings. This year marks a pivotal point in the seminary experience, as students refine their scholarly abilities and prepare for advanced levels of Islamic study
